Matt Dickey completed his Bachelor’s degree at Butler University in Indianapolis, and is now working towards a MM in Violin at the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. Matt has been an active performer professionally holding positions as Concertmaster of the Booth-Tarkington Civic Theater, Assistant Concertmaster of the Danville Symphony, and violinist in Sinfonia da Camera.

Alongside playing in many symphonies while at Butler, Matt also did extensive work playing opera, theater, chamber music and solo recitals. While in school, Matt also was a teaching fellow at the Butler Community Arts School, providing private, group and summer camp experience to children across Indianapolis.

Matt believes that music is one of the most unique and inspiration experiences that anyone can have. It promotes a love for an art form that supersedes words. Having fun with music while setting positive, tangible goals for the students allows them to develop a lifelong love of music and learning.
