About me…
I spend most of the days and nights doing what l love, coaching singers to make music with the instrument they were born with – their voice! Through a wide variety of musical styles (classical, pop, musical theater, etc.), I help vocalists create stellar performances, so judges are impressed and audiences are entertained!
I believe that great singers (or those working to be one) make the best progress by taking private lessons, singing in ensembles, and performing for audiences. Joining a school choir, participating in a musical, or cantoring at church can provide opportunities for solo and group singing. I’m happy to help students find a place to sing.
I have extensive experience as a soprano soloist, teaching voice, directing musical theater classes, and leading choral groups of all sizes and ages. Currently, I conduct community and church choirs in Mason, and judge choral competitions for Festival’s Edge (in addition to teaching privately.)
I am a graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, with degrees in Vocal Music, and Music Education.
Music takes most of my professional and spare time, but I do manage to show up at Mom’s for dinner every night, and to pick up Beaux ReGuarde, my basset hound. (Thanks, Mom!)
