Teacher’s Note:
“Everyone has the right to enjoy music, both as a listener and as a maker. I tailor my approach to the student’s interests and objectives as much as I can. I try to strike a balance between building a repertoire that’s relevant to you and covering musical and technical fundamentals that every advancing guitarist needs to come to terms with in order to grow on the instrument and become a more self-reliant learner. My specialty is Jazz; however, I also enjoy and have performed Rock, Funk, Soul, R&B, Country and Western, Bluegrass–even Punk Rock (although that was a long time ago). But the best way to get a feel for what I do is to come in with your guitar for a free trial and give it a shot.”
