Natalie Romanick is an American soprano from Long Grove, Iowa. She is eager to work with students to find their unique voice in a way that is healthy and long lasting, and to cultivate a love and appreciation for singing. She is flexible with teaching many different styles including opera, choral, jazz, and musical theater.
Recent performances include singing the role of Eliza in the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music’s production of Dark Sisters by Nico Muhly, where she was praised for her “sensationally vibrant and heartbreaking vocal timbre.” Also during her time at CCM, Romanick performed as Beatriz in the production of La hija de Rappaccini by Daniel Catan. During her studies in Wisconsin, Ms. Romanick engaged with both operatic and choral repertoire, including performances of the role of Laetitia in The Old Maid and the Thief and the role of Donna Anna in a concert production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. She also featured as the soprano soloist in performances of Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem.
Additionally, Natalie has collaborated with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, the Bach Ensemble of St. Thomas, and the Cincinnati Fusion Ensemble. Future engagements include performances of Bach’s Mass in B Minor with St. Gertrude Church’s Sacred Music Series.
Natalie holds degrees in Voice from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music.
